Liverpool will start to face Eintracht Frankfurt 🔴 #UCL
Match Background
Following losing four fixtures consecutively, the Reds aren't quite entering unfamiliar ground. But, the previous occasion the club suffered five losses in a row was back in the 1950s, under Don Welsh. This campaign resulted in the drop from the top flight.
Currently, nobody's implying that Liverpool are going down now. But the manager will be keen to prevent making that piece of the past. Liverpool need to get their Premier League and Champions League seasons moving positively as soon as possible.
Frankfurt's first two matches in this season's tournament both ended with a 5-1 scoreline—a home win over their opponents and an away defeat at Madrid. Liverpool, on the other hand, have defeated the side Eintracht were beaten by, and been defeated by the team they won against. Therefore, forecasting this match proves especially difficult.
The exciting fun starts at 20:00 GMT. Kickoff is here!
