Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

This young athlete boasts substantial social media audience

Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile backers as she makes her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses multiple golf courses and often matches against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"He practically suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she added.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in only three events in 2024 and holds ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

But she's able to receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials commented that her participation exposes golf to different demographics, especially reaching younger fans.

Kai has substantial online presence and has started an exclusive apparel and wellness brand.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
